Today, I had a long-awaited journaling session, a heavy one that I truly needed. The main purpose behind it was to delve into the core reasons for why I left my special project, ‘The Good Old Days,’ midway—a project that I was extremely excited about and eager to share with the world.
There are times when despite feeling motivated and enthusiastic, certain aspects of ourselves hold us back. While it may not be evident in the moment, upon reflection, it becomes painfully clear which emotions or fears caused us to hesitate at the last minute or what insecurities prevented us from diving headfirst into our endeavors.
Throughout my entire journaling session, I aimed to uncover the essence of ‘The Good Old Days’ and figure out how I can work on this project in a way that empowers me along the journey.
The revelation came to me, and it was simplicity! I now realize that my task is to deeply understand the subject matter with clarity, enabling me to simplify it into a beautiful missing puzzle piece for my audience. As I pondered further, it struck me that simplicity was indeed the core of ‘The Good Old Days’ itself! It revolved around simple wants, simple living—a lifestyle our elders taught and embodied.
Although the word “simplicity” may sound basic and unexciting, it holds within it the power of contentment, warmth, and a sense of belonging. It is what our minds yearn to relive, to experience the embrace of those bygone days.
As straightforward as it may seem, recreating those days or their emotions today is undoubtedly a challenge. However, if we can come even a step closer to experiencing that feeling, wouldn’t it be akin to heaven?
Our mission is clear—to unlock the emotions reminiscent of ‘The Good Old Days’ through our sustainable products. Why sustainable, you might ask? Well, because sustainability was an integral part of those times, so deeply integrated that it blended seamlessly with life.
